"I wasn't sure if I would be able to make a reservation during half term, but to my surprise, the restaurant was not too busy. The staff were wonderful, very friendly, attentive, and engaging. The locals were also great, sharing local knowledge and stories. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with a small outdoor seating area. As for the food, I couldn't resist trying the wood-fired pizza since it was hard to miss the oven as soon as I walked in. The staff suggested I could take any leftovers home, as they also offer takeaway orders for their pizzas. And let me tell you, the pizza was absolutely fantastic! I've had my fair share of pizzas, but this one was definitely one of the best. I only wish I had discovered this hidden gem earlier in my holiday. I will definitely be returning. This restaurant is a must-visit! Please note that parking may be limited."

"Just been to Olive Branch on a very wet miserable night. The lights inside make a lovely atmosphere and it was warm and inviting. Staff friendly and helpfull. We had pizza each and bottle of wine they are the BEST I have tried. I go nowhere else for pizza they are very thin and fabulous toppings. Only £28 for two people great deal, great value and reliable."

"When in Easingwold I always call in here for a drink. My family used to run the pub back in the 60's and it always makes me think about those who aren't here any more. "Fantastic Picturesque Wolds location with this wonderful Cosy hotel on Market SQ. Service beyond and Manager more than helpful on our two visits. Sirloin Roast Lunch to die for... I think a lot of Restaurant/Hotels have forgotten how to cook a roast dinner so this was a bit special. Regards to staff at Bar Restaurant staff and Management."

"After we picked up our takeaway on Monday 29th August 2022, we tucked into a feast of onion bhajis, poppadoms, samosas, and three curries. I can comment on what I personally ate, which were: Poppadoms: unfortunately they tasted rancid Onion Bhajis: Very dry and hard, and didn't give the impression of being fresh at all. It tasted and felt more like it had been made yesterday or ealier and reheated and consquently overcooked. Shame. The flavour was ok, but still, was disappointed. Lamb Karahi: Again, the impression was that this had been prepared and reheated and was way overcooked. The sauce was good it was indeed a tasty curry, but the lamb was way overdone and dry. Garlic Nan: You can't really go wrong with that, can you? As expected. Not very garliccy, though. All in all, a decent enough curry, but nothing to write home about, or indeed, to repeat. Perhaps it was because it was a bank holiday. If I try again mid week (I live abroad, so don't hold you breath), I will update."
