The bartender at this restaurant was excellent. He was friendly, engaging in conversation with genuine interest and a cheerful attitude. The customers were also pleasant and welcoming.

I love this restaurant for several reasons - it's open late on weekends, has great music, plenty of seating, and offers delicious Thai food. It seems to attract both locals from Chiswick and the work crowd. Ver carta

This restaurant is within the pub, in a separate area at the rear but very pleasant. Great tempura prawns. Nice pork stir fry. All other means we’re good. Service was good. Good menu with lots of choices. Would we return …yes!

We decided to have an early dinner at this charming old pub. We were seated at a table in the expansive restaurant at the rear of the establishment. I ordered the spicy prawn pad nam **** pao, which tasted freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients. I paired it with a pint of Pride and a pint of Dark Star Hophead, both of which complemented the food perfectly. The service was friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this place.

On Saturday, the pub was crowded. The three of us stood at the bar for over half an hour, but the staff completely ignored us in favor of serving those who had just arrived. We tried to get their attention, but they claimed to be too busy with the new arrivals. The bar staff seemed clueless and unprofessional, resulting in very disappointing service. It was my first time at this pub, and while the atmosphere both inside and outside seemed welcoming, it was unfortunate that the employees lacked proper training in bar management. Ver carta

it was a nice pub until we ordered a last call. 10 minutes later they turned on the lights and the bouncer (4 of them joined us -literal around us in a circle - and told us (my friend and I had to go. they have thought out what they wanted, and we took the time. we were served the 2 pints beer by bar staff, so probably we had the time - with the foundation (20 min)?! to drink them. this is really unprofessional and the manager should better control their people (if they do not know better what would be reasonable to expect. the bouncers are completely unprofessional and a scandal for the device. to the manager of Old...read more

I decided to have lunch at this restaurant after seeing a promotional board for their Thai Kitchen. The interior of the pub is unexpectedly spacious and the decor is quite welcoming. After wandering around, I finally found the restaurant area. Upon interacting with two staff members, I quickly realized that it was only the decor that was appealing. Despite my instincts telling me to leave, I decided to sit down and order. Unfortunately, I regret not listening to my instincts. The food, while not terrible, was forgettable and not worth the price. The portion size was also small for the cost. The service improved when I got up to pay and leave. I do not plan on coming back in the future.

Been here many times as I live nearby. The only good thing about this pub is that they work till very late during weekend. Staff is always rude. But last time they crossed all possible red lines. Was ordering drinks over the bar counter. We were a group of three, so started with G&T and the guy in shorts jumped on doing it without letting me continue, anyway, managed to catch his eyes and asked for a pint of beer, noticing he rolled his eyes but before I could add a third drink he run away to get smth else.
