"I went in to the pub for the first time today and it was lovely! Such a quaint pub, really traditional and charming. Beautifully decorated and clearly a lot of love has gone into the place. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, I always worry that a pub could be cliquey but it was far from it. Great menu, great service, great atmosphere. I’m hoping to go back and try the roast soon."

Very disappointed. Booked a table for 6 over Xmas. Went there and it was closed. Why did you not let us know?

I absolutely adore this restaurant. My wife, daughters, and friends joined me for Sunday lunch and we all agreed that the food, service, and atmosphere were impeccable. I highly recommend this place.

Just been into the Old Palace for Sunday lunch. I’m now writing this as I can’t move as full up. What a proper home cooked roast dinner. I can’t comment on the puddings as too full would highly recommend Ver carta

I would like to thank Russell and Celeste for being such wonderful hosts during my son's 30th birthday celebration this past weekend. The buffet was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. A special thanks to the two ladies working behind the bar who kept the drinks flowing all night. Everyone had a fantastic time.
