The Old Rectory Tearoom

So pleased to find this little cafe in the old stables in the centre of castle Combe after a long chilly woodland walk, so friendly staff and huge hot choc with oat milk by a roaring log burner. Essential part of village life, will be returning asap

Found it by chance and had a very big and good cup of coffee (they offer soy and almond milk) and a delicious carrot cake. But wasn't labelled,so you have to ask for their vegan cakes. It was also the only vegan ones they've had.. they also have seats outside

Once again, Anna excelled herself. Third visit this year and another wonderful experience. A great spread of savoury and sweet: sandwiches, quiche, cakes, scones, tea and plenty more in a superb Christmas setting. This is a not to be missed treat in one of the loveliest villages in the whole country. Ver carta

We had the most wonderful time for my mum’s 80th birthday , everything was gorgeous, the table setting was beautiful and all the food was delicious and plentiful. We even took some home, take away boxes are provided by Anna (owners). Anna is great, she is really thorough and friendly and makes sure everyone is catered for. Recommend highly . Can’t wait to go back for another party xxx

I would highly recommend afternoon tea at the Old Rectory pop up tea rooms. The room is decorated beautifully everyone commented how lovely everything was! We attended for my Mum’s 60th Birthday as a surprise Anna was very accommodating to the needs of all of our 32 guests (including vegetarians, children gluten free) The food was exceptional thank you so much. It was a wonderful day!!

This is an amazing place to experience a truly English luncheon or afternoon tea when visiting the charming village of Castle Combe. Hosted by Anna, a long term resident of the village, you will experience a delicious selection of traditional English tea favorites, accompanied by pots of English tea. The food is served on beautiful china plates in the beautifully decorated village hall next to Anna's house. Great place to go for larger family or tour groups. Ver carta

What a lovely experience our group had at the Old Rectory Tearoom. We were thrilled to be visiting one of the most beautiful villages in the Cotswolds and the warm reception we had with Anna, the owner, was so nice. The food selections were plentiful and delicious, the table settings of pretty vintage china were lovely, and her Ginger Cake and Cranberry Banana Bread were absolutely delicious. Don't miss the darling gift shop with handmade goods and other necessities.

Wow Anna thank you so much! The tearoom was beautifully decorated, so many little details thought of and the theme was done so elegantly. Then the food, it was delicious. We had some gluten free people and we were all catered for and we voyldnt believe what we were given. Such an array, never had such a fab gluten free afternoon tea as that before and so tasty! I can't recommend the gluten free afternoon tea enough, very tasty and the best variety on offer! We are now looking for an excuse to go back again. Excellent value for money, tasty food and decorated beautifully. A huge gem!

We celebrated our Wedding by having a small, intimate meal at The Old Rectory Pop Up Tearoom in Castle Combe. Anna was fantastic throughout the booking and on the day. She provided good communication and made the booking easy. On the day, it was easy to find and the parking was a great bonus in such a busy place. As we walked in, the whole room was beautifully decorated with the food laid out on the table looking wonderful! Anna was the perfect host as we arrived and ensured we had everything necessary, before leaving us to it. Everything from the background music to the food was perfect for our special day!
