As a NHS worker i was happy to see they adhered to the post lockdown rules. The food was amazing and staff were very helpful and a great bunch of people. Definitely the place to go for your mixy and pint.

Beautiful curry. If you are local and considering the lazy hill, I’d come here instead hands down. The railway lamb was unreal. Quality of food beautiful and the children loved their kids chicken tikka masala!

The food was very good but the wait for food was to long. 3 hours for 2 courses.not good at all as the place was eompty.Waited 5 minutes extra foor the last meal too come so everybody was waiting. Average review becaus the food was tasty.

Popped in for food after reading some of the reviews. The service received was terrible. The barman was miserable and showed no interest. Definitely would not return. Better of going to Bradford Arms in Walsall or The Mount in Sutton Coldfield. Service at these two places is much better. I would stay away from The Swan.

Not been in here for awhile.It now has a new mainly Asian food menu with the odd bits of Chinese English offerings.Two real ales were available, they were ok.Inside looks refreshed, smarter, modern feel than I remember it being.The beer garden was busy, benches on the grassed area some under the canopy covering. Small climbing frame for the younger kids to play on.Hand sanitation dotted around the pub door areas.Right hand side car park.

Four of us ate at the Old Swan last night 5/9/20. It's changed hands since we last visited some years ago and we were very impressed both with the food, the customer service and the covid safety. We all opted for various Curries, rice, nans and chilli chips, all the food was perfectly freshly cooked and despite the restaurant being full the food came quickly, very friendly atmosphere and attentive staff team, we will be back. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Superb little local desi bar which has recently had a very nice makeover from becoming an old drap pub its turned into a smashing new desi bar. Harry the manager is a smashing bloke full of knowledge about the local produce makes you feel very welcome.Food is superb, relatively small menu but our group ordered most of the things and everyone was very impressed with the food.No more tracking miles for a decent Desi bar anymore with this on our doorstep, will 100% be returning..

Been going here for 12 months or more now. It was highly recommended to us and so glad it was. It's not just a pub that does food, but a place that you want to visit again and again.you will find yourself recommending it too.Never had a bad meal. The menu covers Indian Chinese and English dishes. Cooked to perfection every time.The staff are just lovely. They all make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble Harry makes you feel like your an old friend. I recommend you book as it does get busy.Try it, you won't be disappointed.
