Always lovley food here. Chips are delicious, portions are grest and very reasonably priced aswell. A large chips fed 4 children and one adult this week, brilliant.

The women that owns the chip shop is very rude to minors , loads of people have experienced it. This women needs to watch her attitude before parents start complaining Ver carta

Recently moved to the village and tried this for the first time last night, gorgeous fresh food. Beautiful welcome from the staff, chatted to the female owner who was so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Awful experience, the owner was very rude to us and other customers; It was very unwelcoming. Will not be returning, especially when ystradgynlais has much better fish shops with staff that don't talk down to you, such as Gurnos and Marianos.

went there for some food and had a very poor experience, the owner i believe Ams is extremely rude to customers and i will not be returning again, much better food choices around the area and i will not be caught dead eating from there again. Ver carta

Lovely, friendly place with a traditional feel. They seem to know most of the customers by name . Fish cooked fresh to order and the biggest vegetarian selection I have seen in a fish and chip shop. The curry sauce is also the best around! They also serve slushes and the best ice cream in Wales

We have been here a few times to get food. We can’t fault the food and it’s always been nice from this place. However, the past couple of time I have been to get food... There’s a woman who is always rude and speaks so abruptly. Unfortunately, this has put me off going to this place again. All the other people that work there are lovely.

I’ve been here many times and it never fails to deliver. Always great food and a fabulous family business. We love the food, it has always been great and there are always some lovely home cooked options as well as seasonal offerings such as the Christmas specials. Also a great opportunity to get Joe’s ice cream up valley as well as delicious cheese cakes Staff are always excellent and Ams welcomes customers like good friends.
