"The Orange Room in Mile End, a Lebanese restaurant, is one of those places I was told about as soon as I moved to Mile End in 2008. The Orange Tree is unobtrusive situated on Burdett Road, among the many fried chicken and corner shops. If you did not know it was there, you would not look for it but I think that this is part of it’s charm. We have been there plenty of times. The owners (not sure if they are the owners but the same two men are always there) are very friendly and talkative. Of course I never had a camera with me until today. This visit was at the end of hot summer Friday. Tired from work we wanted to enjoy a light mezze meal with a cool can of beer. (You will have to bring your own alcohol because they do not have an alcohol license) We choose a mezze meal with Mousakaat B`Izeit (fried aubergines and chickpeas) with rice, stuffed vine"

Today, my dining experience at the Orange Room was fantastic. The dishes were all expertly cooked and the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys Lebanese cuisine. The prices are also very reasonable. Ver carta

A very average Lebanese restaurant. Hommos was pretty good. However, falafel wrap tasted precooked and the portions of food provided were not very generous compared to other lebanese restaurants in the UK. An okay experience overall, wouldn't describe it as authentic food but it was edible.

Wow! Please come here and try the knafeh, baklawa, and the hot ful madames. It's so authentic and delicious! Lovely friendly service too. We came yesterday and liked the food (arayes, mixed grill, vine leaves, olives) so much that we travelled back tonight for more. So authentic and flavourful. This will be our new favourite go to. Thanks guys!

This is a nice Lebanese spot, nicely situated round the corner from Mile End station. If you live in the area you're lucky to get such a cuisine more commonly found in Central and west London. The food had was very good, though I kept the order small only meeting up with a friend for a catch-up bite to eat. When back in the area I know where it's at, and so should everyone else! Average. Food came out quickly but I expected more from a Lebanese restaurant. I had the lunch mixed starters which was okay. The hummus was good. My boyfriend had the lamb wrap which he said did not taste fresh. The side of ‘Kabis’ pickles we ordered were just your standard out of a jar pickles and not what I expect from a Lebanese restaurant. Overall it was average and edible but I would not visit again.

Our family has experienced our first Lebanese meal at the Yalla Yalla restaurant in Hemel Old Town and it was absolutely gorgeous. The place its self was different and unusual with beautiful glass lamps and decent furniture which was kept clean . The service was good with a very friendly waitress. We all thoroughly enjoyed the plentiful food and we’ll certainly go again when we can. If you can go and try it.
