The Orange Tree - Carta

Nice pub close to railway station, which I found very handy if you need to catch a train, also close to a roundabout incase you needed to use one of those also.

not in this hotel, was out on a day of work. the staff of orange tree was always helpful and polite. in richmond this is a bar that I highly recommend. fantastic

beautiful furnished rooms, clean, no smokey rugged. well equipped room equipment. the personal is so friendly. meal was delicious. bonnie, my dog, was treated like a royal treatment. definitiw 5* Ver carta

Great stop over. Memories of forty years ago. Ramrod and Special, so important in any Young's pub. Disgraceful how many Young's pub barstaff look at you blankly then announce that they don't stock Ramrod.

Lovely pub. Beer was great. Service was tiptop. I didn't try the food but I probably would next time I'm in. Really friendly staff, especially Holly, who treated me like a VIP the second I walked in the door.

A chilled afternoon over an exceptional flat white and pint or two! The bar attendant Holly, was a particular pleasure who went out of her way to create her first vodka martini for us, it was superb! Welcoming and warm hotel reception who organised a last minute room for us. It was the exceptional help from them both that helped us decide to have an impromptu stay. more pub than hotel, I want to stay so that none of the 8 boutique bedrooms. pub is great, there is a nice selection of beer and ales. I didn't drink that wee, but it seemed to be a reasonable choice. they started a friendly young team that served with a smile and a bit of chat, but quickly and efficiently. many seats inside and outside and outside had some excellent bahama sunshades to keep them dry or cool. it is near the station making it very practical

there is a series of reasons why our meal may not have been on scratch, but I am still surprised how poor it was. I haven't eaten here with two friends a long time ago. there was a big game on twickenham we visited and, like many rugby fans, we started in a pub in richmond before. to say it was packed is an understatement, but my friend had a table in the cellar in the expectation this reserved. I go to this pub every year, between christmas and new year to see my extended family for our “Jones Festival”. so it holds a certain personal charm for me. in a beautiful rich moon, it offers a warm, well-furnished oasis in winter, and many outdoor sittings at the entrance in summer with sunshades, only for the fall. the orange tree is 5 minutes to foot from the railway station, and there are buses that often pass perfectly when they watch the teppich in twickenham and want a kneipe to the back (of course they do)! it is also around the corner of richmond theatre, and the pub uses this by using a special pre-theater menu of...read more Ver carta
