Restaurant failed to Tel the public that IT WAS CLOSED ON MONDAY!!! And that it's closing down. So we didn't get in! OpenTable apparently failed to put a notice online about the pub being closed not just for lunch but also for dinner!

The burrata was absolutely delicious, followed by a dish of cod with mussels in a Pernod cream sauce. This restaurant is a favorite among locals and always delivers exceptional food for both lunch and dinner. It truly is a gem in the neighborhood.

The Palmerston has been a East Dulwich institution for 15 years and one of the pubs that turned East Dulwich into the place it is now. It is a terrible shame that it is being taken away from the current leases by Enterprise inns, and this will be to the detriment of the pub and the area. Ver carta

The food was great and the service was too. But the restaurant was very noisy, as also used as a pub so there were large groups of drinkers in the front part of the room. However it definitely quietened down later on so I'd recommend booking a table later in the evening if you want a quiet/ intimate meal!

Steak night is every Monday Tuesday night and finally got to try it. The steaks offered are at a good value especially the bavettte but I prefer mine more marbled if not marinated in green sauce. Opted for the melt in your melt rib-eye. Excellent margaritas!! Keep this place going. Buzzing ok a Tuesday night!
