Had a lovely lunch with a friend. The food menus was excellent for what I was expecting from a pub like venue. Our food was excellent and so was the service. I would definitely recommend.

the best pub I had, maybe even! it is a scandal on some wise because it 'in and out' with little time to relax outside the meal before the table is needed. but it is the only error in an otherwise perfect visit

the restaurant is not public that it was plundered on monday! and that it closes. so we didn't come in! opentable apparently has no online notification about the pub closed not only for lunch but also for dinner! Ver carta

Pretty good food in a friendly pub setting. We went on a Sunday and the roasts were pretty good, the veg were excellent, and they were generous with the meat. Sauces were in sachets, which I personally found slightly annoying.

The palmerston has been an east dulwich institution for 15 years and one of the pubs that east dulwich transformed into the place it is now. it is a terrible scandal that it is taken away from the current rentals of Enterprise Inns, and this is becoming the aftermath of the pubs and the area.
