"Really enjoyed a lunchtime meal here yesterday. The restaurant is really cosy and quite quaint, very traditional feel, but tastefully decorated. Service was excellent, I couldn't fault any of the staff. Everyone was really friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, all hot, served well on time, just enough time to digest each course, but not too long to wait that you are starting to get irritated. The venue was clean, classy with plenty of parking options. I can be fussy when paying good prices for food, but not here, quality! Highly recommend this place, can't imagine anyone coming away disappointed."

had a fabulous lunch with my man and dad last Friday. everything was boiled at home and very friendly staff too.

Lovely chicken, bacon and salad club sandwich, nice salad accompaniment with potato crisps too. We ordered a portion of French fries too, very large. All in all a good experience, polite staff very efficient. Really enjoyed it.

Lovely place to eat, found it by chance. Staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Although we only ordered sandwiches, they were surprisingly very filling, and tasty. Fabulous service, will definitely return Ver carta

First time here but not the last. Friendly staff welcome you to an open country feel of a bar area with comfy seating and tasteful decor. The menu was full of excellent choices and reasonably priced throughout. The meal was excellent and the service was spot on. I look forward to returning soon to try more delicious food.

Lovely pub, great staff, food was good. I had the lamb which was lovely, friends had the lasagne which unfortunately was quite dry, needs more sauce but was tasty. Ambience is lovely and the server was amazing. For dessert I had the sticky toe pudding which in my personal opinion was awful, very gritty due to being made which dates. Didn't have sultanas in it which I hate so have it a go on the recommendation of the server so he didn't charge me for it as I didn't like it after all. Apart from that didn't have to wait long and there was a fair few family members in attendance.
