"I decided to order my friend a brunchbox for our jubilee after I saw it advertised on the Facebook page. I wasn't quite sure where I found it on the website, so I called the load and talked to a very friendly man. I have placed my order online, the basic price is £12.50, depending on which options they choose, they can pay a little more. for the cheese, you can choose from cheddar (pickled fig recommend this with apfel and ale chutney) or blue (pickled fig recommend to couple this with birne and white wine chutney). for the chutney you can choose apples and ale or birne and white wine. for the tee and the coffee, they can neither, English breakfast, decaf English breakfast, ohrengrau, afternoon darjeeling, bio pfefferminz, a safi coffee bag or a decaf safi coffee bag. for the ale they cannot, alcoholic or non-alcoholic. for a choice, they can not have a scotch egg or a picnic quiz. the website advises that if you don't want to hurry, you can ask for an additional sausage roll or pancake. In addition, they also receive: a mini-breadlet with butter-pat, a selection of 4 cheese biscuits, a mini-pork pea from a local supplier, a half-sized sausage roll, mini-mass or chili jams from a local supplier, and compostable cutlery and a compostable serviette. my choices were Cheddar cheese, apfel and Ale-Chutney, English breakfast tea, alcoholic ale and a Scotch egg. If I have placed my order online, I replied if the shop could deliver a small gift card as it is our jubilee. to my surprise they have made it! it was a beautiful little card with 2 cartoon cowards on, with the words happy anniversary. that was very sweet. everything was nicely packed in a big box with a handle. I have noticed that we don't get the small piece butter, or the mini Senf/Chilli jam, but we just thought this was because of supply / storage problems. I was so impressed by the whole design of the box and the effort that goes into the products, plus the man who served me and talked to me on the phone (sorry I can't remember their names) was very friendly. I will buy a little more in order to order products for Christmas gifts. if they have never visited pickled fig, please give it a try, they will not be disappointed!"

I made my favorite sandwich for me, that's the first thing I've eaten in days since the operation. delicious pesto chicken with lemon mayonnaise in sourdough....and certainly recommend.

nothing was too much annoyed for these youngs when it came to arrange mother’s day gift and delivery in lockdown! they really took out the stress when it was and offered to help how they could. many thanks. we're getting in. after the lock is over! Ver carta

Dropped in for soup, sandwich and coffee. It’s sometimes difficult to get excited by soup and sandwich but Bob’s sandwich’s are ace. He bakes his own bread and the filling was simply lovely. It was my second visit and there will be many more. Keep...it up Pickled Fig!

Collected my first “takeaway afternoon tea” am overjoyed with the whole experience. Friendly accommodating service, beautifully packaging inside of which is a magical mix of sandwiches and treats cannot recommend highly enough! Thank you all at the Pickled Fig looking forward to my next visit/order

Been here several times recently and never fails to disappoint. The coffee and biscoff brownies are amazing! Also had an incredible wine and cheese evening here which I can’t rave enough about! Particular favourite was the Sancerre Rose with the driftwood ash goats cheese (and...a drizzle of honey it was heaven! Can’t recommend enough! Ver carta

I visited The Pickled Fig today whilst visiting family in Hessle. We all ordered a sandwich and shared a bottle of Prosecco. I had a roast beef, vintage cheddar and onion chutney on a ciabatta. You could tell the ingredients were top quality. It really...was delicious and the selection of different breads was really impressive. It was really reasonably priced especially the bottle of Prosecco which was also really good quality. I would highly recommend this place for superb food a a genuinely warm welcome

We were delighted with the afternoon tea which we collected today! My favourite sandwich was the coronation chicken and my husband's was the smoked salmon. We also enjoyed a fruit scone with clotted cream and a selection of delicious small cakes. Also we collected a...cheese tasting selection which consisted of 4 really special cheeses, lovely chutneys and crackers and some fruit cake. There were tasting notes for the cheeses advising what would pair with them and describing where and how they were made. This is our 2nd different cheese tasting selection and both were excellent.
