The resturant is spacious, but a bit loud food is very good, but the service can be slow when they are busy. Very good place to eat

The restaurant is large and roomy but can get a little noisy. The food is excellent, but the service can be a bit slow during peak hours. Overall, it is a great place to enjoy a meal.

Food very good, everyone seemed happy with their meal. A very attentive set of serving staff where nothing was too much trouble. Nice and clean, a lot better than your average Vint. Inn.

A Christmas get together for 6 people, very nice food for everyone. The lady in the dining room keeping a good handle on things. Not too long to wait for meal. This is the best example of vintage inns I have experienced. Have visited a few times and enjoy the environment. All very clean all through the restaurant, although did feel the toilet area did need a bit of a spruce. Will be back.

1 1/2 hour slot to eat three course Sunday lunch. That was good when the food came out very quickly. Starter was Lobster and Prawn Cocktail. Beautiful size and tasty, but a bit drowned in rose-marie sauce. 2 adults and a child roast beef was very nice. Nice Yorkshire. Good portion size and nice well cooked delicious vegetables (cab bags, carrots and parrots) . Meat was also good and plentiful. I want more and more severity than planned, but forget to ask when delivered to the table and the server did not appear again as busy. Only a small problem is that we had a pudding, but 15 minutes left to leave the table and did not feel that we could order and eat at that time, so that left out. Other...

We had a 1 1/2 hour time slot to enjoy a three-course Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The food came out very quickly, which was a positive point. The Lobster and Prawn Cocktail starter was a nice size and tasty, but it was a bit drowned in rose marie sauce. The roast beef for two adults and one child was very nice, with a good helping of Yorkshire pudding and well-cooked veggies (cabbage, carrots, and parsnips). The meat was also good and plentiful. I would have liked more gravy, but I forgot to ask for it when the food was delivered, and the server was too busy to reappear.
