"We’ve been to Queensway a number of times and although it seems an untidy pub and a little tired, the food has always been good. Unfortunately, tonight the food was not very good. We were a family party of 9. We were told we could order a Christmas dinner on arrival but it was not available. We were told there was no gammon so not a full mixed grill which was my husbands choice and the gammon meal off for the same reason. There was no coleslaw, no lettuce and no cucumber. This seems totally disorganised given the time of year and a full pub. The meals were not great! My 12oz steak was dry (my husband cooks much better steak at home) and very tough and a small portion of chips accompanied it even though the menu said a larger portion. My sister in law s steak looked very dry too. I’m afraid our next family get together won’t be at this pub. I booked the meal and feel responsible for the family’s disappointment!"

Amazing customer service and fantastic food, I would highly recommend eating here! The homemade donut with cream, ice cream and strawberries is to die for!

Lovely service from Jo-Jo (even rescued our daughters spoon). Kids really enjoyed the desserts. Mexican pasta salad was very flavoursome. Pie Pastry was very stiff inedible.

The staff behind the bar were very friendly we got served pretty quickly. Also staff who come to serve us were good lady who came asked if all was ok. We will call again. Food was very good.

Called in for a late tea. Great food and staff, nothing too much trouble . Jo Jo one of the servers is so friendly and is always willing to help in any way she can, she's a credit to the company

Thank you to the ging, when we asked his name he said to put the ging . Polite and very helpful, some how his smooth talking got us signed up to the sport app because we de brief for a drink in queensway weekly x

Welcoming, atmosphere great, food amazing and very well priced! Horseshoe doughnut dessert to die for! It’s said it was a sharing dessert….. but I was feeling naughty and had one to myself lol Staff attentive but not in your face which was great. Already got table booked for next time
