To their credit, they apologized when I brought this up, but they mentioned that everyone else loves their meatcakes. It’s a shame because this place has the potential to be a goldmine, especially during lunchtime, if they offered a reasonably priced menu that would attract more retired customers."

Really good pub food, lots of choice but was obviously cooked fresh, very reasonably priced with large portions. A great find.

Had the Sunday roast gammon which was very good but the mixed vegetables tasted frozen and I like fresh veg. Service was very good.

A very friendly pub with a great Landlady. Beer was kept well and the food, homemade and delicious. I had a steak and ale pie which contain a great portion of good tasting beef.

Have been before ages ago think it's under new management. Enjoyed the evening, good choice of food and drink. Service was quick and polite and prices of items good. Will visit again soon.

Lovely place to go for lunch on a Sunday. Fairly quiet and we weren't too sure all the veg were fresh (perhaps some frozen? the menu states red cabbage but we had none of that) but if so, these things happen and items run out sometimes. We had a very pleasant Sunday lunch outing.

We made a reservation through OpenTable and received confirmation, but when we arrived, we were informed that they weren't serving food. We left feeling disappointed and had to quickly find something in the freezer to eat. Luckily, I had some leftover turkey curry from Christmas, which was delicious but a bit spicy for my taste!
