"I remember this place fondly as a favorite haunt, and it still holds a special place in my heart. However, I was disappointed to see that the beautiful mural on the wall had been painted over, replaced by a simple bird. The addition of a new walled garden at the front of the pub creates a nice atmosphere, but unfortunately, the recent storms have left the site in need of some repair. The prices were reasonable, and the staff were exceptionally polite and friendly, going above and beyond. It was a shame that the outdoor heating was not working during our visit, as it made for a chilly experience. Despite these minor issues, the company I was with made up for any inconveniences. It's been a while since I last visited and socialized here, and the cost of a quick pint was a bit of a shock to the wallet."

The most friendliness pub in Brentwood you could ever wish for, the staff are very friendly, helpful and can't do enough for you. The meals are superb and very plentiful. You wouldn't want to go anywhere else once you been here.

My friend and I sat outside on the gorgeous Rattan furniture, where we ordered and were served food and drinks at our table. The menu offered a variety of choices, all of which were delicious. Although the location isn't the best, it didn't bother us much as it is slightly sunken and creates a cozy atmosphere. The staff was friendly and efficient in this charming, unpretentious pub. We will definitely be returning.
