The Robin - Carta

Really pleased with our deliveroo from this pub, the portions were huge my burger was massive and my kids ate loads of Their nuggets chips and corn. My hubby had a salad which massive and delicious. Will definitely Eat here again both in the pub or from deliveroo

What a wonderful experience. The bar staff were very friendly and helpful the food was more than I could handle. I was full to the brim. The singer was brilliant and got everyone going. All our friends thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were talking about a return visit.

Yummy! This place has extremely delicious food! Visited here with my husband and baby, was kid friendly with a play area outside and also very nice garden furniture. Lovely decor and really really friendly staff, two in particular called Katie and Tara! Thank you so much ladies for making this a lovely experience!

Avoid.. all the food is from the shelf and microwaved.. i left the table to look after my son in play area, by the time i came back all the food from the table was removed by the staff although i had my belongings on the table.. the atmosphere? Looks like the locals owned the pub same as their siblings owned the playground..

Booked a table for 2, was shown to a table in the bar area, where football was being shown, asked to be sat elsewhere but was told fully booked, there was no-one else seated to eat, ordered food and a family was sat at a nearby table, 53 minutes later when the other table started receiving their meals we asked where ours were to be told they would be out soon, 10 minutes later no other meals had come out of the kitchen, we settled the drinks bill and left. Cant comment on the food as we didn't receive any. But over an hour wait in a restaurant serving 2 tables is not acceptable. Ver carta

I had an hour for a meal. Saw The Robin and it looked good. There weren 't many people in the place on a Saturday lunchtime. I ordered a burger (not too difficult! . After about 20 minutes I asked how long it was going to be. The response was 'a few minutes '. That 's OK. a but later the same question and the same response. Meanwhile, there were few customers and plenty of people going in and out of the kitchen. The burger eventually came after about 45 minutes. It was OK but I had to rush a meal that I wanted to enjoy and left nearly half of it as I was stuck for time. Sorry, might have been good I will never know!

Not finding enough information on the Robin's website wanting a sandwich-and-a-beer type of lunch, I rang the pub and asked if they did anything as humble. The ? landlady said they didn't have a menu for that but they had the means to made sandwiches if that as what we wanted, they'd happily make them for us. Acordingly, my wife I turned up: I mentioned the phone call and was immediately asked what we'd like and what we wised to drink—no umming or ahhing, straight willingness to serve the customer. We had our sandwiches, elegantly made with thin bread no door-step slices, here and cut diagonally, rather above the usual pub style. We had a terrible experience at The Robin. To start with, we dined at The Robin whilst it was compulsory to wear a face mask in communal areas. Despite this, we were the only guests wearing a mask in communal areas plus our waiter did not wear a mask whilst serving our food or drinks. As a vulnerable person, this made me feel very uncomfortable from the start. The waiter showed us to our table upon arrival however the table was pushed up against the wall when we arrived. He left us to pull the table away from the wall and move the chairs over to the table. The waiter had clearly not received much training and was very unprofessional.
