The Rose - Carta

Ordered online as website said they where open, paid for order received confirmation email stating delivery time. Nothing showed up, tried phoning no answer had to go to the shop to find it was closed up. now I have to try and get my money back avoid this place.

Not ordered from here for a while however still lovely and great quality! Recommend the meal for two as very good value! Tried the lamb bhuna for the first time which was very nice however at one point I thought I was going to take off and it went through my son like a two man Bob sleigh!

Have had 4 Takeaways from here.the last on Sat 12th got to say it was **** great.the food was piping hot the meal was delicious had 3 Phials and Tika Masala.propmt delivery.very good service asked for Gemma the driver but was not there this night overall very good will back again !!! Yesterday evening was our first time ordering from Rose Tandoori. The food arrived hot and on time. We made a few special requests in the notes because my friend is a picky eater. The restaurant called to confirm and was happy to accommodate. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. We will definitely be ordering from Rose Tandoori again.

Ordered food through just eat. Forty minutes later no sign of food. Rang the restaurant 3 times only to be told it is only 10 minutes away. Food arrived 2 hours later with one of the dish had all spilled into the carrier bag, The driver apologised and wanted me to take the food. I refused and had to get a refund. Poor service all round and not even an apology from the manager. Will not order again

The food at this restaurant was absolutely terrible and covered in oil, it was disgusting. The owner is rude and changes traditional dishes, claiming that people like it. While some may enjoy the spicy grease, it was not what I ordered. I had the same dish 100 times and it was always similar. This place is awful, they should stick to original recipes and not yell at customers when they are unhappy. I will never go back, I'd rather eat dog food. Ver carta

First time ever of using the Rose, I had a takeaway it was fairly late on a Saturday night so may have had a bearing? my review is. Poppadoms not very fresh, samosas bland, onion bhaji oily, main of Jalfrezi quite nice but a fair bit of oil so I left some food in the container and I question if Jalfrezi strength. Special Rice very nice indeed. I would eat in at sometime when we are allowed to as going by other reviews I don't think mine is typical since the new ownership.

I have used the Rose on a few occasions each and every time the delivery was late. The final straw was today delivery late again and the quality of food was disgraceful. Butter chicken should be rich and creamy what I received was thin and watery. The Naans were quite rubbery and poppadums overdone and burnt. I can only assume the chef is either over worked and has no time time to serve good food or simply does not care about the standard or quality he/she sends out of the kitchen.

Have always had a great meal from here but tonight was a joke.... Food arrived 30 minutes late, Luke warm delivered by an uber eats driver. I ordered directly from the restaurant so don 't know why it came uber eats. Food had been stuffed into one of those bike bags the bag was full of oil and sauce where the containers were squashed, popadoms were all broken and there was a bread missing that had been paid for. Called the restaurant, original guy was useless said manager would call, he did but WOW so rude kept talking over me, saying what do you want me to do disgusting! Order should have been refunded by at least half, the food I received was a disgrace. His excuse was its busy on a Saturd... Ver carta
