Food and service was good but we had to move our dining table as a couple of noisy dogs moved in next to us.

As always when I've been here the food and service was very good. Large tables so you have room to move. Lovely decor.

A great place to meet with friends and enjoy time together. This time we had a dog with us and and also were able to enjoy time with other dog lovers.

Just a really good experience. Cosy environment. Clean, newly refurbished looking facilities. Quick, friendly service. Meals all arrived quickly and piping hot and all was delicious. Really nice selection on the menu. Such a lovely evening. Thank you!

We have just enjoyed THE BEST Christmas Dinner celebration we have ever had. We were far from easy as this was an outing for the 29 residents of our carehome, loads of issues needed to be overcome, however Chloe and her team couldn't have been more patient and helpful, genuinely wanted us to have a fab time, . I went here for a family lunch just before Christmas and I was very disappointed in the meal I was given. On the table we ordered 3 burgers, 2 from main menu and one from the children's menu. To my surprise one of the main burgers was the same size as the children's burger and when I tried to raise this with staff they said the other adult burger has been squashed. This is an obvious lie and we were still charged full price. Extremely disappointed.

Congratulations to Amy and the team for a most enjoyable Burns Night experience. Full marks for a Menu that carried a good Scottish theme. Smoked Salmon, Haggis, Tatties and Neaps, The best Haggis I have had I think. Great effort to provide full atmosphere. Piper, traditional speeches' and the staff dressing up for the occasion. And the service. The staff here really are acting together as a very helpful team. We had a great night and really looking forward to see what this team can do under the new ownership.

I hate giving negative reviews, but I have given a positive review in the past, saying I would be coming back, The staff again were kind and thoughtful, but there was a bit of a wait, which as I was in no rush didn't worry me. the problem was that the food was overcooked and dry on both my wife and my meal. I had the pork, which was shoulder as opposed to rib eye, I am a butcher and the black pudding crumb was so overcooked that you could not even chew on it, My wifes chicken schnitzle was also overcooked and very dry as were her chips. This is a great shame as I feel that it is the pub that will lose out. I don't know if the kitchen were short of staff, or there were other problems, but the... Ver carta
