"We visited the Sea Shanty Beach cafe three times this week while staying in Branscombe and had a great experience each time. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and tables were promptly cleaned. Even during a busy midweek in late September, the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced - we particularly enjoyed the bacon, Brie, and cranberry ciabatta with crisps and salad, as well as the generous portion of fish and chips. The cafe is dog friendly and also offers high chairs and cutlery for children."

a very special place for us. we enjoyed staying at the sea Shanty site for almost 40 years and still loving it. the sea shanty cafe is also very good for breakfast and lunch.

great location, on the beach. beautiful personal and cheesy chips to die. the best of all time. Spanish brot with hummus and roasted pfeffer also beautiful. local drinks and beer. what is not to like!

We had a wonderful experience at this charming cafe. It is dog-friendly and the food and staff were exceptional. We walked from Beer to Branscombe, had lunch at the cafe, strolled along the beach, and then walked back to Beer. It was a lovely day. Ver carta

We traveled about 40 minutes to get to this restaurant, but it was well worth the journey. The food was amazing, especially the babeans and baby cranberry sandwich. We also enjoyed a couple of great beers from a local brewery. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the view of the sea was beautiful.

Today's roast dinner at The Sea Shanty was excellent. The selection of vegetables was lovely and the roast potatoes were great. We couldn't even fit in a dessert! We always receive a warm welcome at this restaurant and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a delicious roast dinner in a cozy and friendly atmosphere.

We quite often eat here. Always clean and the staff are polite. Reasonably priced food. Had baguettes outside last time. Very tasty and nice fresh salad. The most critical I could be was the bread was the part baked stuff. To be fair it was still very tasty and the practicalities of getting fresh bread at Branscome everyday would make it too costly I suspect. We will definitely eat here again. Ver carta

My experience at this restaurant for lunch was fantastic. We ordered the prawn baguette and the brie, bacon and cranberry baguette with a side of cheesy chips. The food was delicious, made with high-quality ingredients, freshly prepared, and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant was clean and organized. We sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful view right by the beach. I would highly recommend stopping by for a visit.

I absolutely adore this restaurant. The food is delicious, the staff is lovely, and they are always ready to assist without being overbearing. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the view is stunning. I visited with my dog and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us, even helping me with my food and opening doors. It can be challenging dining alone with a pet, but they made it a breeze. Thank you for all your assistance, I will definitely be returning.
