The Shamrock - Carta

Visiting some friends and went here for dinner. We had the fish and chips, vegetable salad, fish tacos and curry. Appetizer was jalapeños, samosas and croquettes. Everything was great! Dessert was fantastic. Service was so very friendly. Playground for kids. Simply wonderful restaurant!!

Visited for the first time on St Patrick's night and though busy the staff were overwhelmingly fast and friendly. The menu is varied from salads to burgers and the home made peanut butter and Bailey's ice cream is to die for! Staff speak Spanish and English so what more could you ask for? A tad expensive, otherwise would have been 5* but would definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

¡Qué alegría encontrar un lugar que sirve la cena temprano a las 6pm al estilo americano! ¡Por esa razón sola, vale la pena hacer un viaje o dos! Nuestros amigos nos llevaron a celebrar su cumpleaños y el personal parecía conocerlos; en cualquier caso, el servicio fue genial. Los tacos de pescado estaban deliciosos. Llevamos casi 2 años en España y el personal de Shamrock se ha convertido en nuestra segunda familia. La comida y el ambiente son maravillosos, incluso en sus días más ocupados. ¡A mi marido le encanta pedir sus hamburguesas especiales y a mí me encanta su curry! Durante mis días de embarazo, quería sus quesadillas de pollo (y echaba de menos sus tintos de verano, sangrías y vinos caliente). ¡Creo que tienen noches de karaoke! ¡Tienen un parque infantil afuera para los niños pequeños! ¡Puedes sentarte afuera o adentro! Me encanta este lugar.

I love this place. I can’t say enough good things about it. Even on their busiest nights (Friday), they serve you with a smile on their faces. The food is incredible. They have a consistent menu but I encourage you to order their wide range of specials that change regularly. Their brunch is the best in town. They really try Their best to replicate authentic dishes from different regions and I believe they have succeeded. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes an effort to get to know you, which makes returning feel like visiting old friends.

Me impresionó mucho este establecimiento. La ubicación es excelente, a pocos minutos de Rota y fácil de encontrar en la carretera principal. Incluso tienen un estacionamiento decente. El menú tiene una buena mezcla de comida irlandesa y algunos artículos no irlandeses. Toda la comida que recibimos fue fresca y de buen gusto, me gustó especialmente el pastel del pastor. La selección de cerveza es decente, especialmente para la zona. El servicio fue impresionante, definitivamente parte del personal más agradable al que hemos estado corriendo en toda España, y todos hablaban inglés. The staff make the place what it is. The food is always amazing, too, but the people are what bring us back over and over. The owner is great at constantly planning new specials to bring plenty of variety to the menu. The wait staff are friendly and have treated us like family from day 1. The layout is wonderful as there’s seating near the playground so the kids can play while the adults enjoy adult time. Try the jalapeño poppers; not very spicy but amazing flavors. Brunch on the weekends is always enjoyable, I love the soul breakfast. A delicious, sweet waffle with fried chicken wings on top. Friday night is Karaoke and even if the crowd is small, it’s always a good time. I can’t say enough...

He oído mucho sobre este lugar desde que llegué al país hace 12 días, así que decidimos revisarlo. Nuestro servidor Felix era muy agradable y el propietario Stevie era tan grande. Stevie tiene una historia maravillosa si tienes tiempo para charlar con él. Los lugares a los que ha viajado están en el doble dígito y su servicio fue fantástico! Pedí el pollo crujiente especial y el sándwich de Sriracha. Vino con patatas fritas como un lado y probablemente fue la mejor comida que he tenido toda la semana. If however you’re looking for a place with great family ambiance and consistently fantabulous food...this is not the spot for you! To begin on a positive note: The service was top notch as usual, the facilities were immaculate, the Guinness chocolate cake is fantastic, and the coffee was superb. Come through java! After 3 visits we’ve graciously picked at an über bland chicken wrap that would make my 4th grade cafeteria ladies proud, and a couple of brunch selections that left me with a twitchy side eye.
