"We visited here again last night, the third time since we 'discovered ' the ship around a month ago. It 's a lovely family type pub/restaurant with helpful and courteous staff and pleasant surroundings. We were served last night by Chloe, who was nothing short of outstanding: there was a minor mishap with our order (not her fault) for which she took complete ownership of, and sorted promptly and efficiently; furthermore she went on to make our table of four feel both important and valued all evening. I think that we were there all evening until around 11.30, she even re-lit the fire by us around 10:30, and we hadn 't even asked. Well done to all, especially Chloe."

Love coming here with my Dad. Fab friendly staff, food is tasty and a lovely atmosphere. Plus it's Dog friendly , which is a bonus.

yesterday morning to breakfast with my mom, sister and little neff, for the first time was and will definitely go more often, pub is nice, staff very helpful and eating was amazing xxx

I had a lovely meal with my husband last night for my birthday nice and relaxed, food was delicious, staff very friendly and polite, would definitely recommend the ship inn very very nice x

Held our sons baptism celebration here, the buffet was fantastic, fresh and excellent variety. Family/friends impressed with buffet and venue. Ideal venue for gatherings, staff friendly and approachable.

really enjoyed it waited for the meal, but we were advised 40mins, but it warns that long. it was pretty full always a good sign, no complaining of us 4 would recommend definately. we will go back decent mixed grill.

we went to our tee here because we had to wait an hour at our usual place. the pub itself was pleasant, not too busy and the staff was very friendly. the appetizers were served very quickly and given enough time between the curses. the meal tasted really nice, my son and I had the sweet chili noodles with carburized chicken, my partner had the steak and my daughter chickensuggets, followed by chocolate brownie. we ordered from the set menu, so the meal times were good value for money.
