The Shipwright Inn - Carta

Pretty average. Good for the area I suppose. Other reviews and the menu would lead you to expect something special…it certainly isn’t.

Went for Sunday lunch. Good service. The meal was let down by poor quality vegetables. Not a lot of choice ranging from inedible to just ok.

We visited today for Sunday lunch and can only say…it was fantastic! We’ll be back for more! The cheesy leeks were delicious! A great roast, enjoyed by all! Ver carta

The food was delightful and the service was very welcoming! I would definitely recommend this restaurant. We visited after two weeks of vacation and it was the best meal we had.

The staff at this restaurant are very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a Sunday lunch that was great value for the price. We will definitely be back and might even try dining there in the evening.

Four of us had Sunday lunch today, good choice of meat options and veg served from carvery. We all enjoyed our food ,very tasty we finished off with sticky toffee pudding and apple pie . Staff couldn't do enough and very friendly. We sat in a window seat ,with view of the the water . All very enjoyable ,bank holiday meal ..

Lovely little pub on the waterfront, my daughter enjoyed watching the ferry go past. Staff were attentive, friendly and polite. I ordered the lamb roast dinner which was delicious. Yorkshire puddings lovely. Good variety of veg. Had the Nutella waffles to finish which was a huge portion and lathered in far too much chocolate sauce but thoroughly enjoyed it.

Our first time here tonight even though we are local.what a great place,tasty food,curry for me and vegetarian lasagna for my wife which was piping hot and a bonus was real,proper chips! Not the frozen rubbish you get everywhere these days. The two girls running front of house where friendly and great at their jobs too.highly recommend and will be back soon Ver carta
