"Perfect place to people watch. All the food I 've had here has been great, with a good menu that changes with the seasons. My burger was particularly nice with caramelised onions and a brioche bun. Also great for a Sunday roast, I had the half chicken and the waitress gave me a yorkie so I didn 't get yorkie-envy when I saw the other 's plates. I really like the desserts here, @they keep traditional alongside some with a twist and I love the pear and hazenut tart I had around Christmas time. Mmmmmmmmmm Staff are nice and the room is big and airy, the tiny 'garden ' would be lovely to sit in were it not full of smokers, as it 's between 3 walls it 's hard to get a breath of fresh air there. Drinks are standard 'London prices ' now but the food is reasonably priced."

I like this pub! the staff in the heart of the crystal palace is friendly, it always has a beautiful feeling. it is very underlined in its device, but that works very well. they have a beautiful selection of beer on tap, an excellent wine list excellent cocktails. eating is top notch-forgot not their 2-4-1 burger offers on Monday! all in all they earn 5/5

Love this friendly places and really recommend food here. Much better than what you would expect even from a very good pub! It’s got a great vibe always have lots of fun here even though I don’t drink anymore. Had a good decade of enjoying their cocktails though! Espresso Martinis and a good Friday happy hour from 9pm! Value for money but book as it gets very busy. It’s small and popular

This is a wonderful spot for a Sunday lunch. Despite all the tables being booked, the staff were incredibly attentive and managed to find us a place to sit. The food was exceptional and certainly left us feeling satisfied. The only downside was that it would have been lovely to see roast parsnips included in the "all the trimmings" vegetables that accompanied the roast. We will absolutely be returning! Ver carta

Gastro pubs seem to be on the rise in Crystal Palace by all accounts and with a friend recently buying in the area I felt obliged to visit both. Sunday is roast day so we opted for that on the menu and it was fantastic. A great portion with a handful of potatoes and a huge yorkshire. The veg wasnt plentiful but the beef was outstanding. The atmosphere was light and airy and the furnishing very tasteful. All in all a lovely Sunday lunch.

I had an excellent evening at the Sparrowhawk! The calamari, burger with chips, and seafood pasta were all superb. The desserts were delightful as well. The pub's staff were friendly, engaging in conversation and sharing smiles, which truly makes a difference these days. It's such a warm and cozy spot; my friends and I definitely plan to return. The drinks were fantastic as well—cold and refreshing. A big thanks to the Sparrowhawk for a wonderful evening!
