I tried this restaurant for the first time and was impressed with the good service and delicious food. It was a hot summer day and I enjoyed dining in the beer garden.

Very nice pub we had two meals very disappointed over priced for what we had chip are terrible we had burgers and scampi brilliant staff and service Price per person: £40–50

Great location after a lovely walk....but the Sunday dinner. Just not good. Processed food nothing home cooked...... good Yorkshire Pudding and bakewell tart, but I was not full and satisfied like you should be after a Sunday lunch as most of it was inedible. Sorry.

Had a really delicious Sunday dinner I can't have dairy, and there were a couple of choices for vegan desserts, I had vegan brownie and vegan ice cream. This pub is fantastic! It was very busy, so it's best to make a reservation if you're going on a Sunday. The special meat dish was lamb for Sunday dinner and it was incredibly tasty - I was so caught up in enjoying it that I forgot to take a picture. I tried the prawn starter, which was good, and others in my group had the soup, brie, and parma ham - all of which were delicious, judging by the empty bowls. The price per person was between £20-30, and I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as a 5 out of 5.

I recently visited a beautiful pub that had me a bit concerned at first when I had to drive across a small stream, but it turned out to be very shallow. The pub had a large car park and spacious beer gardens. The waitresses were very friendly and the cold beers and ciders were perfect, especially on a hot day. The Royal Oak Inn also offers accommodation with seven bedrooms at reasonable rates that include breakfast. I noticed some meals being served to other customers and they looked of excellent quality. I will definitely be returning to this charming pub.
