"We stayed in 'Daisy ' at Grange farm park for the weekend and enjoyed wonderful breakfasts and evening meals at the Stables restaurant right next door. The food was delicious and the kids meals were great. Lovely to watch the kids playing outside whilst we finished off our meals. The vegetable Thai curry was lovely! The staff were amazing. Thank you Adam for all your help. Access for the disabled was good. What a lovely restaurant well done Ann and team. We will certainly be visiting again."

We ate at The Stables this evening and the hospitality was fantastic. Both meals were faultless and our drinks were never dry. Can’t wait for our return visit!

Thank you so much for a great evening, 13 of us had a birthday meal for my wife Steph, the food and service was excellent. They brought out a plate with a cake and candle on all decorated with Happy Birthday in chocolate and sang happy birthday. We have been here about six times now and will be having many more visits, thanking you once again.

tonight with Nackty daughter and two grandchildren eating was super, the staff very friendly and attentive, view from the table are stunning and additional bonus the children have to play in the floor with the owners puppenspiel. that is the second time that we were the second time and will definitely go again, and its only 5 minutes drive from home.

yesterday, as I didn't want to drive too far in mablethorpe both men I had the burger that was cooked like the chips. it is completely wheelchair accessible, as the husband is a wheelchair driver. I had the sorbet ice cream caby with lemon choke cake. I would recommend to everyone to live or stay in mablethorpe, not far outside the city. lots of parking space

We visited for the first time today, we chose the thai green curry and burger and hand made chips, freshly cooked and very nice indeed we followed with sticky toffee pudding and the chocolate brownie, we could not fault anything. So nice also to have the food delivered on hot plates and served by a lovely friendly waitress. Thank you for a lovely lunch, we shall certainly be back.

We had dinner here on a Saturday two weeks ago and it was lovely. 2 steaks, 1 sausage and 1 salmon which were all cooked to perfection. We shared a sticky toffee and a chocolate brownie pudding and they were also lovely. Staff were very good and, given that there was also a large party in too (which we were made aware of on booking) our service didn’t suffer An excellent meal and we will definitely return to sample more delights. Lovely to have somewhere this good so local.

"I've been in Horncastle on business twice once on a Monday, once on a Tuesday and both times found the town mostly closed for business in the evenings. This time, just as I was on the point of deciding people in Lincolnshire must have a tradition of fasting on a Tuesday evening, I came across The Bull. This attractive old coaching hotel looked inviting, and the staff offered me a friendly welcome. The warmly lit, high ceilinged interior of this Georgian inn was full of diners (Yes on a Tuesday! Take note, other restauranteurs of Horncastle) and the ambiance was convivial. The selection of beers behind the bar was good and the two pints I drank were tasty and well kept. I was presented with two bar menus, a separate burger menu and shown a fish menu and a steak menu on the wall. (I understand tapas is also available at weekends). Quite a choice! The bar menus largely consisted of what you might call traditional pub grub of the best kind. Within that massive choice, there must have been at least half a dozen dishes I was really tempted by but, eventually, I plumped for the cauliflower soup followed by the pork belly, mash, peas and apple gravy. Both courses were outstanding and extremely generous in size, especially the pork belly. My only disappointment was that I hadn't room in my distended belly to squeeze in a spotted dick for pudding! My bill, for such a large and excellent meal, was very modest. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at The Bull and would definitely eat and/or drink there again."
