"As a parent of an 18-month-old, I always get a bit nervous when dining out, especially since he usually wants to run around after about 30 minutes. However, the staff and owners were wonderful with him! They even took him behind the bar to check out the pumps, which he absolutely loved, and we managed to capture some great photos. Another bonus was that they had plastic utensils available (I had forgotten mine), which was really helpful! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. This is a great place, and I highly recommend it!"

"I had never been to this restaurant when it was still a fine dining establishment, but I made a reservation for Valentine's Day only to discover that it had been rebranded as a steak and burger house. Despite this change, my dining companion and I were not bothered as we both enjoy steak and thought that a kitchen staff with experience in fine dining would know how to prepare a good steak. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The medium rare steak I ordered was thin, tough, and overcooked. To make matters worse, I specifically ordered a T-Bone steak but what I received was not a T-Bone at all - it lacked the fillet side of the cut. This error, coupled with the fact that they had run out of one of the only three desserts on offer, left me feeling like the restaurant was trying to deceive its customers rather than serve them well. However, I must say that the buffalo wings were tasty. The wait staff were friendly and attentive, so my low rating is not a reflection on them, but rather on the disappointing quality of the food served."

"We arrived at the pub at 20:35 as it says serving food 12-9. Unbelievable they said they stopped serving. It wasn’t as if it was off the main road either. Took us 15mins from the hospital where we were visiting my father in law. As we left the pub the young girl walked back in the kitchen and laughed and said haha I got rid of them. We were already upset from visiting my desperately I’ll relative, otherwise I would have gone back in and given her a piece of my mind. SHOCKING!!!!!!"

"Food was tasty although the chutney and curry were too sweet. Not great value for money as we were charged £3 for the chutney tray that was on the table when we arrived (you'd assume it was free), plus 10% service charge. "We went for lunch on 24th of December around 12pm, the place was empty so I asked to the lady (owner? if they were serving food, which she promptly said to look at the menu that she would ask the cooker. We sat down and looked over the menu. After 5 minutes she came to us but we hadn't decided what to have so she left. It took her another 20 minutes to come back and she was visibly distressed and told us that they were very busy that afternoon and we would have to wait a long time for the food to be ready. My girlfriend asked if she wanted us to leave but she said no. We started asking for food (breakfast rolls and she looked very annoyed at this point but took our order anyway. My girlfriend asked if we would have to wait long for the food since we were only having some rolls and the lady said yes, because they were very busy getting ready for dinner. So we decided to leave. My point is she should've told us since the beginning that they were unable to serve food at that time because they were busy preparing for the afternoon."
