Excellent Sunday lunch, there were 13 of us the service was second to none. Food was perfect, fresh, homemade delicious

Amazing Sunday roasts . Take away . Roast beef never had beef so tender n massive portions . Yorkshire puddings wow . Service lovely . Won't cook Sunday again

We've started coming here on a Friday night for a few drinks,it's always so welcoming,the landlady is always so friendly,they have fantastic entertainment,I can highly recommend calling in. Ver carta

16 of us went for lunch on 26th July . Our party consisted of elderly some with mobility issues. We all had a lovely meal the atmosphere was great and staff friendly. Can't wait to go again.

Had a family Christmas get together and a Christmas dinner. Very friendly staff and atmosphere ...food amazing and good value...they do smaller portions which is great for children and people with small appetites. The decor was amazing..overall a great experience and would recommend

We have had meals and drinks at this pub/ restaurant on a few occasions and never had a bad meal. However this time there were a couple of dogs in the eating area, one of which was quite big and every now and again would let out a very loud bark. We are ok with pets in pubs, but not in the eating areas please, it is quite off putting. Ver carta

Had my hen part here, atmosphere was amazing due to my friend being the entertainer, now for the cons, ordered £200 worth of buffet food which consisted of 2 plates of sandwiches, bowl of chips, 2 thin crust pizzas, medium plate of chicken nuggets and small plate of chicken wings, when I went to speak to the manager about it she had left, even bar staff commented on it, I rang to speak to manager the following day to be told she had done me a favour as it should have been £250

Called in here today for food. I had the dipping combo platter as I like variety. Service and food was good. There were a few other diners there, who were obviously regular diners as the member of staff: 1. reminded them to put their car registration in the machine to avoid a fine (didn't tell me) 2. checked with them that their food was ok (didn't ask me) 3. When she cleared my plate my glass was almost empty but she didn't ask if I wanted another drink or dessert. I was going to have another pint and possibly a dessert but I felt like I was a complete outsider apart from the 2 ladies sat at the next table who were friendly.

We Don 't normally leave 2 reviews for the same place as its often difficult to get consistency in good quality food. We have now been coming to Strawberry Gardens for 2 months , Originally recommend to us by our lovely new neighbours in Hazel Grove, and we have been bringing our family and friends ever since , all which agree this is a Sunday Lunch above all other Pub Sunday lunches . The Landlady is so lovely and really cares about what people think about her home cooked food. In the Hospitality world of Quantity over Quality , this lunch is an exception to the rule.
