First visit, Saturday evening. Impressed with the look of the pub, inside, and out. Very pleasant staff, good service, accommodated our request for a table that had more light, and an excellent roast. Compliments for the gravy.

Friday at 1 o'clock. a worker must have seen that we approach, opened the door and greeted us. it was warm with a cozy log fire. although a big mosh seemed somehow not overcrowded. had a fabulous carvery roast. they let my nab head try a taste of the bark, as he is tired of hard meat. it was the best tenderest beef we had for a long time, I had pork and it was also beautiful. a good selection of veg and guides, all beautiful and hot as the teller. also the jugendverleihpuddings were perfect. much the best and cheapest carvery I had.
