"Following a bad experience we were invited back to try again. This was early Saturday evening. The service was much better and the food very good. Overall the weak point seems to be the large expansion into what was once a car park area. Given the number of covers inside outside front back extension and two areas added that were a car park the kitchen just can’t cope without some additional investment. Probably they need more staff but I know it’s hard to find and keep staff since Brexit. The staff were very stretched but still maintained a good standard of friendly service. Just be prepared to wait a little longer than usual at busy times."

I have been escaping to the Sun Inn since the summer of 2004. In that time I have seen many wonderful people come and go.. people that give soul to the Sun. Ciro is one such person. Don’t let him go

The best pub, the heart of Barnes. The staff are incredible, nothing is too much trouble (and I’ve tried! . The most amazing atmosphere, no matter when you go. Often playing live music too. Outside space is so good now they have had a refurb. Favourite place. Thank you
