"the swan is a quintessential country pub/hotel in a picture postcard village. the interior is stunning with original features, complemented by modern art work and fittings. the food is the star of the show with beautifully presented incredibly tasteful house produced vegetables, eggs and meat from their local farm in the village. a 3-course and a 2-course menu with a prosecco and local real ale at the arrival and house cocktail during the meal with coffee for a very reasonable £70. a real pleasure and a perfect small garden for it. bravo to the cook and the attentive, really friendly staff that made our visit so unforgettable!"

since the reopening we are twice and both beautiful. beautiful, a new menu to crispy mushrooms and fish cake delicious to see how the risotto and kiew very friendly service and roaring fires beautiful evening! we will be back Ver carta

We were visiting over the bank holiday weekend and this was recommended by our friends. Loved the menu and choices for the kids. My daughter said she wanted me to make the Parmesan tagliatelle when we got home! Amazing food and fantastic service too, definitely worth a visit.

today for lunch. beautiful warm fire in the bar, excellent house red, delicious lunch, with super fresh ingredients, the burger is honest the best around, you can not beat (no change a thing! ... the chocolate delice was absolutely unimportant to blow!...has not stopped bleeding about all afternoon...highly recommended
