This restaurant is beautiful, but unfortunately, the kitchen is closed today at 3 o'clock.

This pub is fantastic! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is lovely, and there is ample parking available. They also have a beer garden which is a great addition. The service was top-notch, I would rate it a 5 out of 5. Ver carta

The worst food I have ever been served. We had to return the battered fish it could have knocked a wall down it was so dry. The ham was sandwich, processed out of a packet. The service lacklustre. Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet

We stayed in The Sett, an ideal family room for the four of us. Clean, with plenty of towels and bathroom products. We received the loveliest welcome .... would highly recommend and hope to return soon! Hotel highlights: Kid-friendly

Do go, it's really worth popping in for a spot of lunch. Unpretentious and delicious food very well priced for the area. Staff were welcoming and attentive I mean what more can you ask for? Husband says it's the best Croque Madame out side of France he's had. We'll be back to taste more Ver carta

This small pub is a hidden gem! They serve delicious homemade pub food with generous portions. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which is a refreshing change from many busy pubs nearby. You can easily stop in for a pint at the bar without needing a table or feeling crowded. A perfect spot to unwind after a walk.

I called ahead and made a reservation for Sunday lunch just an hour before our arrival. The staff was very welcoming, the portion sizes were great, and all the food was delicious. We started with some appetizers and had roast dishes for our mains. The servings were so generous that we were too full for dessert! We brought our young daughter with us, and they offered her toys and puzzles to keep her entertained. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We stopped off the motorway looking for somewhere to eat and stumbled upon this pub that advertised serving good food. We were seated and the waitress mentioned she would bring us the menu. However, she returned 5 minutes later to inform us that the kitchen had unexpectedly closed. Given the circumstances, it seems they could have made an exception for us. Additionally, with pubs already facing challenges in staying open, turning away customers like this is not ideal. While the food may be good, prioritizing customer service is crucial nowadays. Perhaps they should consider removing their advertisement as well. Ver carta
