The Tamburlaine - Carta

Enjoyed the atmosphere, food was good and well presented. Staff work hard and make you feel welcome.

Unfortunately the service doesn’t live up to the price. Although the food was excellent. Just don’t order the carrot cake a few crumbs on a plate!

The restaurant is slightly overhyped; the ambiance is different from what the style suggests. However, the service was good, and the food was decent. Ver carta

Lovely afternoon tea, beautiful decor, staff attentive and happy. It was quiet but it was Friday afternoon. Hoping more people start going to the Tamburlaine as it’s a lovely place, the bar is amazing as are the cocktails.

We were in the coffeee shop, don’t know if this is the afternoon tea lounge. The waitress was very good even if she was the only one there and a bit busy. The sandwiches were very basic, scones were nice, cake very exotic not quite English afternoon tea cakes. Ver carta

Afternoon tea was served in the garden room which looked lovely. The service was very attentive and the food was excellent although the tea was weaker than we would normally take it. It was very noisy due to two party groups present and quite difficult to hear each other speak at times.

We visited during the Love Cambridge Restaurant Week and were greeted by the charming maitre d' who took great care of our table throughout the evening. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant—not too loud at all. I had a lovely evening with three friends. Thank you so much, and we hope to return soon!

many thanks for a nice lunch, glad that we came to a quieter time. nice to practice something French while enjoying the delicious food. a word on the wise, parking around the hotel is demanding on street parking (ringgo app). we park at the station, which costs £12.70! because it is limited to day parking only! the parking lot costs almost as much as a 3-course lunch menu! (not the fault of the hotel, but very annoying). I would recommend not explore other parts of the hotel, well to know whether it is a kind dach terrace or terrace. Ver carta
