The Three Compasses

Very highly recommended country pub just off the M1. This is lovely pub, gardens great for the dogs and lots of great walks. Service is good as is the food (simple and delicious). The staff are great a super professional too.

This restaurant is a hidden gem! Despite being located in the middle of a residential area, I have never experienced such exceptional food and ambiance. The dishes from starters to desserts were simply amazing. I would gladly make the 7-hour drive just to dine here again! Ver carta

great meal good wine and beer selection. I'd pass the paper, it's really just leberwurst. Otherwise the meatcake was delicious and my friend had nutella donuts that I tried and enjoyed. a good place for good eating, even if the location is a bit out of the way and in the suburbs.

I have been here a few times now and the service and food are excellent! Ian is a great host and never disappoints and I will make sure to come here more often now the weather is so nice as the seating outdoors is lovely and quiet! That's not to say indoors isn't lovely too! Highly recommend!!!

The food at this restaurant was excellent, freshly prepared, and generous in portion size. The roasts were delicious and the salad was one of the best I've had in a while. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it for any get-together. Ver carta

today for lunch, table of three. a mix of dressed between us, but all were incredible, honest, some of the best food had in a long time. the personal was really friendly, accompatible and attentive. the young lady we had when our waitress was brilliant. Moreover, it was a really fairer price. I don't live in the opposite, but would definitely like to go back if I can.

I had a fantastic meal here for lunch with the family. croquets, garnels and calamari fritti and cocktail stars were excellent. we all had either chicken or bark burgers and were really impressed by the quality and standards of the chef. all were presented very beautifully. the personal was also very helpful with my children and made sure that we had a pleasant lunch service.

A real hidden gem! Love going for roasts in the area and far wide, always in search of The Best Roast. The Three Compasses are 100% up there with the top roasts I've had. Presentation was perfect! It is a big plate so you need a big appetite. We both had the beef and it was actually the best beef I've had in a long while cooked to perfection, zero fatty bits. However the Brocoli was a bit hard and the spuds were a bit dry, but that won't stop me from returning. Lovely pub overall and the service could not be beaten!
