"I've had the privilege of working at the OPO bar for nearly two years, and I must say, I could never have anticipated how incredible this place would be when I first started. The owners, Adam and Rob, are truly exceptional individuals. It's hard for customers to fully grasp the lengths they go to in ensuring everyone has the best experience possible. The attention to detail in the decor, drink selections, and customer service is unmatched. Throughout my time here, I've developed immense respect for this establishment, and you'll be missing out if you don't pay a visit. Thank you, Adam and Rob!"

This is the best bar I've ever visited (and I've been to many). The owners are fantastic, and the decor is spot on. The adult-only room in the back is one of the most beautifully decorated spaces I've ever enjoyed a drink in. It was so impressive that I had my partner take this photo. We will definitely be back. "This place is lovely. Someone has really paid attention to detail. The decor is lovely but little things like a pizza cutter with the cutlery is so nice. Great selection of pizzas-some with quite unusual toppings like scam or a cheese and honey. Really delicious and good portions. Great wine. Their own gelato too. The staff are really attentive and friendly. I wish for them that it had been busier on a Saturday night during the summer. But then again the whole town was quiet. "After having had a succession of mediocre to poor meals from far Pavilion over the last 18 months, I felt compelled to write this review. Partly out of disappointment; as this used to be by far the best Indian restaurant in the whole area. However, since Covid, and particularly over the last two years, the quality of the food has dropped considerably, while the prices have continued to increase. (This is now one of the most expensive takeaway options in the area Around two years ago, for some reason (perhaps a change of chef? , they started to change the flavour of their dishes which have become steadily more bland and tasteless. To the point where a lot of dishes now just seem to taste the same. Unfortunately, the quantity and quality of the meat in the dishes has also really dropped. For example, where you used to get nice chunks of chicken breast we had a chicken balti the other night, which was literally tiny strips of chicken with sauce – and that was it! Another favourite dish used to be the lamb Rogan Josh. Where the lamb used be lovely and tender, of late it’s been tough, undercooked and fatty. Such a disappointment to write this review as this used to be such a good restaurant! We won’t be hurrying back now unfortunately, which is a real shame Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"

"This is a fascinating railway and film exhibition center. The café has been beautifully restored to resemble the Brief Encounter-style room featured in the film. The service was a bit slow, but that was due to a large order being placed by another customer. The menu prices are comparable to those at most mid-range restaurants. The exhibition staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, I enjoyed dining in."

"We had a fabulous meal, we booked for NYE as it advertised a disco, we enjoyed dinner and planned to join the dancing. We ended up staying at our table as it was just too full and actually so rowdy we were put off. The staff were brilliant, and could have done with more help, but they worked so very hard and were conscientious. The toilets, by 11pm were awash, apparently the gents were the same, which wasn’t pleasant. All on all, we had a good time, but could have been better."
