Sue runs The Tipple Inn and will go the extra mile to help anyone I have been blown away by her open hearted approach that has to go a very long way in my book I am in huge appreciation

I was greeted warmly by the host and other diners at this restaurant. The food was delicious and served hot, and I felt it was worth the price. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Great food and plenty of it. I had the chicken curry and rice. My wife had a burger chips and salad, both beautifully cooked, and served with a smile. Ice cream to follow was lovely too, especially the rum and raisin. Definitely worth a visit, you will not be disappointed. Ver carta

Really friendly, we were the only ones in the restaurant area and it wasn’t a problem to make us a fire just for us, thank you! Huge portions and everything was delicious. Perfect find as a mid way point for the family. Really friendly towards my children which was appreciated. Am sure we will be back!

We had a delicious Sunday roast today! The portions of meat and vegetables were generous and cooked perfectly, and the flavors were incredible. We are excited to come back and enjoy more during the Autumn and Winter months. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was accommodating, despite how busy the restaurant was during food service.

After a walk on Salisbury Plain we enjoyed a delicious lunch here sitting outside in the sun. The landlord worked very hard to look after our group of nine men and although service was a little on the slow side (pretty normal nowadays) we really couldn't complain about the high quality of the food or beer. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff in a historic building -a real English country pub. Thank you and we hope to return. Ver carta

We have often visited Tipple, but had never tried their Sunday roast until this past weekend. We decided to give it a try and were very impressed with the quality of the food and the portion sizes. The servings were large and provided great value for the money. It's definitely worth booking a table in advance as it can get quite busy. They are also dog-friendly, but it's recommended to check for availability in the designated areas for dining with your furry friend.

Pre booked for Sunday Lunch. No other dishes available on a Sunday. Service: lady was really nice and friendly 10/10 Not a massively long wait for food. Food delicious but not home made Yorkshire’s which was a shame. Husband said his chicken was a tiny bit dry but I didn’t think so. Beef was cooked perfectly. Lovely sausage meat stuffing. Large portion size! 9/10 The place got busier as we were there but not over crowded and plenty of space between tables. There was only one lady as waitress and bar person so she was very busy. 9/10 Over all score 9.3/10!

Wow! Well that was certainly the most unimpressive service experience I have ever had in my years of visiting an eating establishment!! Bearing in mind that my family eat out at least once a week and try to choose small local pubs rather than chains to support local, family businesses. So, we travelled an hour to this pub to meet up with the rest of my family as a half way point to celebrate my sons 21st birthday after reading recent positive trip advisor reviews.
