The Townhouse Kitchen And Rooms

The rooms are absolutely beautiful, the food is amazing, and the atmosphere is fantastic! Our stay was flawless. The rooms are spacious and full of great amenities. The food was incredible and reasonably priced.

We went in just for drinks on Saturday night, though it was fairly busy for food upstairs. Appeared a bit pretentious spending time making cocktails for hen parties while regular customers waited minutes to be served.

I cannot recommend the Townhouse enough. I stayed in room which was truly fantastic! Huge space and a jacuzzi bath. The Menu was diverse and really high quality and the staff were knowledgeable and helpful. will definitely be staying here again. Ver carta

To be fair, this was one of the busiest days of the year, a go-cart race. Staff brilliant, and nothing too much trouble. Food-wise, we ordered pasta dishes which were overcooked, and hot beef sandwiches, which were nice and tender but a little...salty, chips were lovely. Overall, a bit overpriced, and it kind of felt this place should be in a city centre, I really can't see it working in Barrow in Furness for long. But good luck guys.

I just walked out and I wished I left higher tip. As soon as I walked in, Grace was there to greet me, I didnt have to wait a second. She chose a table for me, but then came over and decided to palce me...in a better, more comfortable place. She kept checking on me in a really kind manner, I felt special and well looked after. The food was tasty and the portions will ensure you walk out well fed and happy. I recommend this place, you rarely see such caring service anywhere, and her name was Grace!

By far the best restaurant in town. I say that because I absolutely mean it. The rest of the town is likened to apostolic Hollywood movie don’t get me wrong we loved staying here but I seen the potential for this town around every...corner. It saddened me greatly. I’m sure the residents would also love to see this town arrive once again. All I can say is fight for your beautiful town. Lastly I would like to mention Jonathon from the town house. Went here for drinks last night and it’s safe to say some of the staff need to go on a customer service course. Man on desk was welcoming but a couple of the women had a serious attitude problem. When we first arrived someone came...and took our drinks order but then after we had finished our drinks we asked a passing women if we could order a few more to which she said “ you can go order at the bar”. So we went to the bar to which we were then told we could order from our table. Potential to be a really nice place but some staff are rude and let it down.

When i went in i was greeted at the door. They showed me to my table, the staff are very friendly and helpful I mentioned to my waiter i am a vegan, gluten, wheat and nuts free. . I was shown two meuse one for...gluten and other one vegan. I chose vegan burger. WOW If you are a vegan you must try it. The chief made sure everything i received would be okay for me. To eat. I even managed to have a sweet which is unusual for me with my dietary issues. The sweet was WOW . Even if you don't have dietary issues it is still worth going in. The chef food Is excellent. As you can tell its a busy place.

I made a reservation at the townhouse for my friend's birthday and arrived early with a cake and decorations as they had previously allowed me to do so when I booked a month in advance. However, when I walked in, I was met with dirty looks from the young men working there. They asked me why I was there and I explained that I had a reservation. They then informed me that the restaurant was closed for training. Despite showing them my confirmation for tonight's booking, they insisted that the restaurant was closed. I had not been informed by anyone from the townhouse about the closure, nor did I receive an email about the cancellation of my booking. This lack of communication was disappointing... Ver carta
