"The late summer weather brought out a crowd, and the restaurant had plenty of outdoor seating available. The drinks service was fine, but issues arose when it came to ordering food. We were informed there would be a twenty-minute wait, but our food didn't arrive until nearly an hour later after two reminders. It turned out that they hadn't realized one of our starters had run out, which was frustrating to hear. We watched as tables who had ordered after us were served before us, adding to the disappointment. The food was hot and our server apologized, but the delay put a damper on what could have been a pleasant evening. The offer of token refunds never materialized, leaving us feeling let down."

Lovely meal this evening, relaxing surroundings, wonderful staff, friendly and good service. 3 of us for dinner, mushroom pie was lovely, mixed grill wonderful and steak pie tasty. Also had dessert which was lovely Will definitely be returning

I stopped by this restaurant on a Wednesday evening and it was very busy. The restaurant and bar were both packed, but when I asked if they had a table available, they said they could seat me either in the bar or the restaurant. I ordered a mixed grill, which was cooked well and arrived promptly. My only complaint was that the steak, which was cooked to a perfect medium rare, had a lot of fat inside, but that's not the restaurant's fault. The chocolate brownie I had for dessert was amazing. Overall, it's a nice place with a good pint of Tribute.
