"I recently enjoyed a delicious roast and a steak pie at the restaurant. However, I was taken aback when I looked across the room and saw a dog sitting at a table eating. It was truly unbelievable and almost made me feel sick. I couldn't finish my meal, as I kept thinking about the possibility of a dog being right beside us while the bar staff were petting and cuddling it. We had planned to come back next Sunday, but now there's no way we'll return. Never again."

We went for a Roast yesterday, and I must say it was delicious not sure if the chef is new, but far better than before, as we have eaten here a few times.will deffo be coming back for that delicious tasty roast and the gravy was amazing

During our family holiday with our two dogs, we visited this restaurant twice. The food was excellent, the staff were very friendly, and the Sunday roast was possibly the best we've ever had. We highly recommend it! Hotel highlights: Family-friendly and great value.

Great pub! Amazing food and lovely staff! Only went for dinner so don't know about the rooms but if they're the same standard as the food then definitely recommend! Friendly staff and great food. We had tried to get bookings at several other restaurants but with no success. However glad we came here. They didn't mind our 2 small dogs sitting on the bench at the table and even fetched them a biscuit each. Would definitely go there again if we were in the area. Service: 5 Location: 4

Unfortunately I couldn’t stay for a meal. With a baby screeching nearby and the general noise of the place it caused havoc with my tinnitus. Shame, it allows dogs and the menu suited me. We dined last night at the Traveller's Rest in Tregarrian for an evening meal after enjoying a lovely day. I usually don't write many reviews, but I felt compelled to share our experience, as the food, atmosphere, and staff made it a memorable evening. My wife ordered a Caesar salad, and I had a mixed grill, both cooked to perfection. The staff was courteous and attentive without being intrusive. We look forward to returning! - C. Webb

Popped in for lunch today with my mum. Fish, chips and peas for me delicious! Vegetable lasagne for Mum she loved it and what she didn 't eat was boxed up for her to take home. If like us you love a decent black coffee, this is the place to come. It was rich, dark, smelt divine and tasted even better! Service was excellent, the lady was attentive but not 'in your face '. Definitely a 10/10 experience and we will be returning. Service: 5
