Not to be dramatic, but this place ruined all other fish and chips for me. I tried fish and chips about 4 or 5 other times on my two week roadtrip around Scotland, and this place had by far the best flavor. I came here after visiting Dunrobin castle. I only took a star off bc I couldn't sit down to eat and had to eat in my car. Thank you Trawlers!

The food 's average I suppose. Don 't bother asking for sauce though. I love chippy sauce but theirs must be infused with platinum and nymphs ' tears so stingy are they with it. If they actually honour your request at all. Photo shows 'lots of sauce please '. What 's the point? La Mirage in Helmsdale couldn 't be more opposite.
