"Had our first meal for some time in here and it turned out to be the best yet. You get what you pay for and the fact that this is a pub, you ain't paying for fancy decor, highly trained staff or all the bells and whistles of other establishments. As a result, the food is excellent value for money and when you are meeting up a group of friends, you want quality, well cooked food, served reasonably quickly and drinks to go with it. This is the place in town when they all come together. On this visit, it was burger, roast beef, tarragon chicken pie and a range of desserts. Bottle of wine, 6 beers, glass of red wine, two coffees and a total bill of justunder £25 per head which included tip Very pleasant and competent staff made this an excellent visit and now that we are back out and about, will be a more regular visitor."

a nice pub on the high street of olney with great people behind the bar and around the pub. the beer is good and the offer is always of the highest quality. So, if they ever have in olney and have a few free time options for free this is a certain place to check!

We noticed a sign advertising a 2 course lunch for £7.50, and didn't have high expectations. However, we were pleasantly surprised! The homemade soup with a warm roll and homemade chili with a delicious side salad were excellent. The drinks were also reasonably priced. Along with the friendly service, we highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic traditional English pub located on the High Street of the beautiful market town of Olney. Famous for its annual pancake race, Dickins of Christmas fair and food festival amongst other things. The two Brewers has two lovely bars. The public bar is popular with locals for games like darts and pool. The lounge bar is much bigger and is set out with tables for eating or just drinking around a real fire in the winter months. The food is always very good and reasonable priced, especially for a Sunday roast Parking: Parking is free in the rear carpark you just need to register at the bar. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Steak Pie Parking space...

"Absolutely average restaurant. Dirty bamboo table mats and super dirty windows, kinda sad to look out of them. Impatient service, who under 6 minutes 5 times came back trying to pressure me to take my order. I was confused as I thought it was a restaurant not a fast food place. Silly me who used to live in Japan though the menu is just like there, with pictures. How wrong I was...So getting my phone to have a look at their website, what kinda different that in the restaurant menu card one. When I tried to ask for reconditions, I didn't get any, she just straight away took the last what I asked. The steamed algae was very nice, but my noodle soup was a big surprise, as I have no idea what's roasted (burned) pepper and massive chunks of onions doing there? It's supposed to be sea food, but instead just some burned vegetables scared with frozen octopus, mussels and mini calamari rings poured up with chicken broth. So yeah, kinda disappointing. Drink wise I asked the waitress do they have any tonic water as it isn't listed on the menu card, she looked at me like I am a weirdo. I asked for Roku gin what is my favourite. On the receipt was counted as an extra pound because Japanese. Lol, no comment. Getting the drinks, from other restaurants you get the spirit on the rocks in the glass and front of you they pouring the mixer drink from the mini bottle. Here not, just straight away together as it comes. Oh and don't bother asking without lemon, because you are getting one either way. So Akasaka restaurant did not become my favourite one. Once and last. Easily can be forgotten. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"
