First visit since moving away over ten years ago. It was like meeting an old friend once again, a very comforting experience. We had an excellent lunch and drinks with great service.

what's not to love ?! a truly cracking place with great beer choice and large variety of excellent food to eat plus can vouch for the sandwiches! . Went in for a quick pint and I have to say that I've never seen such bad customer service in all my life wow. No greeting just a weird awkward glare like I was some kind of high profile criminal or something. As I was looking for what beer they had... no recommendation as to what ale to recommend or what is popular... just a weird glare. Never felt so uncomfortable in my life. Remember losing a job because I didn't ask the customer if they wanted a bag..... yet they allow someone to have zero social skills to be at the forefront on a business. The staff need to remember that they not there only to pull pints.. they also need to make the customer feel welcome and positive and want to return..... Ver carta
