Great village pub with a warm and friendly vibe and great food

Great meals and drinks served in front of an open fire.... couldnt fault anything..

Food drinks: Good pub food including veggie options. We ate there at the start of the week and went back a second time. Friendly staff and easy parking.

lovely hotel very friendly hosts and staff beautiful location in a sleepy little village. spotlessly clean bedrooms and tremendous breakfast. Would go again tomorrow!!!.

Didn't stay so can't comment on the rooms. We dropped in on Sunday lunch time mid walk the Sunday roast was fantastic and the cider was pretty good as well. Service: 5 Location: 5

Lovely spot to visit and stay. Very welcoming hosts. Spot on food. Good selection of beers. Room and ensuite very clean. Bed comfortable and huge. large small old-fashioned pub with 4 bedrooms, including a large English breakfast included in the price. perfectly located to hike (only over a mile over a short distance to foot, then after the river) to Malham and its sights. the personal is friendly, informative and courteous. the room was clean bright and comfortable. if they are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay at a reasonable price, this could be for them

We were made to feel welcome here, from the moment we stepped through the door, right up to the time we left. This place is full of atmosphere, and we thoroughly enjoyed our food and drink. There is ample free parking about 30 metres past the door, and dogs are welcome here. We indulged in the scampi, beef chilli, and the Stornoway black pudding pie, which was full of flavour. A good selection of real ales are also available. It's only a five minute drive from Malham and the area is full of excellent walks. I would heartily recommend coming here for a meal.

Just outside of overcrowded Malham is this lovely little village with this great pub. There's several rooms but the main room had a nice fire on in the harth and was lovely and warm. The staff were super kind and the food and drinks were great. There's parking on the side of the road as well. For me after a good hike and dip, Malham itself is far too hectic and this place offered the perfect peaceful ambience and a nice town village rather than a tourist spot.
