Service staff seemed overwhelmed as we had to keep asking for the same things repeatedly, we waited a long time for our food, and our bill after we had asked for it.

Really tasty flavoursome food, as always. The service here is so friendly and welcoming. Our server, Hannah, remembered us and our boys from a previous visit and was so warm. She made our visit perfect. Ver carta

The food was delicious although I remember it being slightly better on my first visit. We had the chicken Sunday roast which was hearty and tasty. A few more of the lovely spuds would not have done a miss though

Roast Sunday dinners are normally good, so much so that I recommend. Today let down a little. Beef we had was a bit gristly and was cooler than the other items on the plate. A little strange so hoping for better next time around.

We decided to go to the Victoria Inn for a date night and had a very enjoyable time. There was an excellent selection of starters and main courses starters were particularly inventive and our chosen dishes were delicious. Its been a long time since I've had such a good risotto and although the mushrooms were truffled, the flavour was subtle rather than overpowering so full marks to the chef for that.
