The restaurant was incredibly busy that night because of a live band performance. I didn't eat there, so I can't provide any comments on the food. The atmosphere was decent, as the Halloween theme was well-executed and the staff dressed for the occasion. The service was quite good given the high volume of customers. Price per person: £1–10. The food here is outstanding! My family tried a range of dishes, from fish and chips to vegetable Thai curry and sea bass, and everything was cooked to perfection. They also accommodated the little ones very well. The beer was well-kept and the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely return when I'm in the area again. For vegetarians, there are plenty of options available, and the restaurant is safe for those with peanut allergies, offering lots of gluten-free choices as well. Expect to spend around £10–20 per person.

I arrived the night before the Ireland vs. New Zealand World Cup match, and what a warm welcome it was! The community spirit, especially regarding rugby, was incredible. The place was busier than ever and even ran out of Guinness! It was such a fun atmosphere. The roast beef was amazing, truly a feast fit for a banquet. The staff were fantastic and went above and beyond. The cozy fire made it even more inviting. I can't wait to return! I also met some wonderful people from Cornwall—what a lovely experience.
