The Village Cafe - Carta

I visited the village cafe before a few weeks. I was in the mood for a pasta court and noticed that the Italian restaurant offered a few doors down.

Quick lunch. Quiet, probably due to awful roadworks and total lack of parking in bishopbriggs. Food and coffee very nice. Good service. Would go again.

Celebrated a family member's birthday here. Food was great, staff were friendly and the drinks were wonderful! Also had a fabulous gluten-free menu, would highly recommend. Ver carta

Great place to go, good is always really fresh and tasty, and plenty of it. They have an extensive menu with something for everyone. Tye staff are always really helpful and pleasant too.

I can't praise meals and service high enough. our group had dishes from all sharing the menu, steak, fish, pizza and pasta. all were excellent. children's dishes presented as small adult versions. manager, the employees (especially jamie) absolutely brilliant.

Always have a fantastic time here! The food and drink is lovely and has a good atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and happy to accommodate. On a couple of occasions we have been walk-in's and have been shuffled a table but if you want to sit in the front bar it's best to book. Ver carta

very comfortable and well equipped restaurant. excellent menu with a large selection of dresses, including burger, pizzas, fish, meat and vegan/vegetarian options. the staff is very nice and very helpful. prices slightly on the higher side, but overall a very pleasant culinary experience.

absolutely brilliant for 5.25, 2 bacon, 2 sausages, eggs, black pudding, kartoffelspinne, tomaten and bohnen. served with toast, butter and tee or coffee with complementary replenishment. even after 11 o'clock can u it with a charge up to 6.25 I will be here all day until I have to go home. debbie and brenda are the nicest people, it is like eating home. great talk and loving care nature. I'm back.

My partner and I were in the mood for a good roast dinner and decided to go to The Avenue for their 2 course special for £18.95. My prawn cocktail starter was very good and my partner's chicken liver pate with caramelised onion chutney and toasted soda bread was delicious. However, our main course of roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, and vegetables was disappointing. The Yorkshire pudding and potatoes appeared to be frozen and pre-cooked, and the broccoli tasted like it had been stir-fried with sesame oil. The food did not meet the usual excellent standard of The Avenue. While I have friends who eat there regularly and love the food, what we were served was below par for a r... Ver carta
