I'm not a sport fan, but I can understand how fans can see a game without comment because they can see what happens. if it is not a real game that is shown, no one seems to look so why they have the television on everything that is another distraction."

A brilliant local pub. Service is first class- all bar staff very pleasant and super efficient. Good atmosphere and a very friendly environment.

the service was very good and cheerful, but eating was very disappointing, seemed to be microwave-shaped or prepared and not well presented. pity cos it was Valentine's Day

The title just about says it all. Came for lunch and was warmly welcomed by the guy behind the bar. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, a good lunch and reasonable prices.

Booked a table at short notice to get a Christmas bite to eat with three of my nephews. We were well looked after and the food was well prepared. Nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly and attentive. Thanks for looking after us.

We had a magnificent Christmas dinner here. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food was excellent a 5 course meal with interesting tasters and the all important turkey toast with Yorkshire puds. Could not fault the service. Thank you team.

Excellent Christmas Day meal. The food from tasters to desert was really fresh and delicious. Service was excellent and staff were so friendly and efficient. If I had to criticise anything the chocolate truffles were not brilliant. Lol Would definitely recommend and do it again.

Decided to extend our drinks event by ordering food. Did not disappoint. 3 of us had lovely light tempura batter over chicken goujons. Ordered chips plus sweet potatoes wedges which were to die for. My partner had fish chips which are always good. Service...with a smile as always. Thanks to Paddy and the lovely young waitress behind the bar.

I visited family for dinner and was very glad that we were in front of the place. the staff is excellent, nothing too much annoyed, they are super friendly and efficient, without being overlaid. the menu, although very simple, for everyone. the food was well cooked and delicious. no room. for desserts, but next time will definitely save space. can be highly recommended for a good night in a pleasant relaxed and friendly pub
