incredibly good. delicious meal, interesting menu, cozy pub atmosphere and attentive staff. we had trout and cheese soufflé for starters and then monkfish curry and wags burger for net. we were too full of puds. everything was excellent!

Arrived for lunch on a balmy March Saturday (17degrees) and enjoyed a modern take on classic pub grub. Ham egg and chips like you have never had before. Relaxed atmosphere and despite being rushed off their feet with the unexpected spring rush, the staff were delightful and accommodating.

The highlight of this restaurant is the incredible beef, complemented by a diverse menu that caters to all tastes. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and it's also dog-friendly. While it may not be the cheapest option, it's definitely worth the price. Additionally, they have a lovely outdoor seating area for when the weather is nice. Ver carta

The food was good, but I found it a bit pricey for what you receive. I visited The Vine Tree for the first time this summer, and the atmosphere is pleasant for dining. My only complaint is that it's a little expensive for a pub restaurant. I would consider it on the higher end of pub dining, but you can find similar places with slightly lower prices in Malmesbury or Brinkley.

We made a reservation for a Friday lunch on a sunny late May day. To our surprise, the place was quite empty, and we were the only customers at 1 PM. The owner's partner was very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The pub is dog-friendly and features a spacious parking lot, as well as expansive grassy areas with picnic benches, some covered seating, and a secluded area with ample tables and chairs. The atmosphere of the pub is inviting, but it currently suffers from a lack of a chef. The food was decent, but the fish was only lukewarm and the peas were served in small porcelain dishes that hadn't been drained properly. I ended up tipping mine onto the plate, and the excess...
