the service was okay. very slow to get starter, but as soon as we increase this, the server became very attentive. starter surprisingly good for a pub. main course rotisserie huhn was dry, but my friend was good, so it's just a question of consistency.

I ordered a koks and got a diet coke. my friend ordered a lime brand and limonade. the waiter looked panic, when clearly did not know what was kalk cordial. when it arrived, the limonade was in a glass with the cordial in another. we. check the bill very carefully as the previous experience has shown that it often made mistakes.

It’s a nice location on the canal but with a tow path in between. Warm cosy terrace with cover and heaters and a nice buzz. Friendly service. Food just okay. I had grilled prawns which had a little bit of a fuel taste about them....Chicken Caesar-huge portion but nothing special. Friend had 2 starters. 3 glasses of wine and tap water and the bill came to £112. Not great value then!

Went in for early Sunday lunch. Had Roast Chicken dry and overcooked with Yorkshire Pudding was cold. Partner had the fish which was good. However, the servers were friendly — and quick service. They also refunded the cost of the chicken. It’s local and...our first time there. So we will give it another go on the basis the servers were good and just hope the chef was having an off day.

We go out with our family friends every Sunday for lunch and this was the best time we’ve had for a long time! We sat outside with warm cosy heaters. We had three kids with us. The menus is excellent, delicious food, but what stands...out more than anything is the attentive service. Our waiter, Raul, was charming, helpful with the children and always on hand and everything arrived immediately! When lunch was served three waiters arrived in unison! Excellent family friendly establishment. Highly recommended!

we had a reservation in the restaurant at 11:30 a.m. and when we arrived, they gave us a table with a bank (outside the main area). when we asked another table, they said that all the tables were booked if they were clearly not! we had to insist and then they gave us a better table! By the way, all the other tables were free! at 12:45 a.m. they came to us to say that we were about 13 a.m. (as agreed in the booking). we asked them to expand as much as possible and they said: “No”, but we could see clearly that many tables are free. that are out of view and eating are ok, but the restaurant policy is not flexible and does not offer the right customer service!

Went here for the first time ever to meet up with my cousin and her fiance who I got to see for the first time. My mum was the one who suggested the waterway becaise it was a place iI could get to without to...much stress. The atmosphere was nice and quiet when we arrived and the staff were nice amd friendly at first but i would say mid way after we ordered our food amd recieved it their customer service and friendless went flat a bit . I didnt understand why as they werent busy the whole time we were there they had a few groups of people outside and that was it from what i could see so i was left feeling uncomfortable at the end I think the rest of my family didnt really care but to me if y...

We came for Sunday lunch the tables were packed very tightly together, on ours I was sitting right up against a pole and my friend was adjacent, which made for a rather odd situation! We both ordered roasts, and although our waiter was pleasant,...the waitress who bought the meals did not offer us any sauces, and actually told me they didn't have mustard when I asked for french. I asked her to go and find out, and she came back finally with some English mustard, which was a shame young girl who clearly hadn't been trained at all. The actual roast was lacklustre in the extreme cold yorkshire pudding, which I complained about, but was told it is supposed to be room temperature and they offered...

We had booked a table on the upper terrace for lunch. The food was good and afterwards we stayed on for the afternoon. It's a lovely canalside location but we found the front of house staff excessively officious, inhospitable and unpleasant their rudeness spoiled...our afternoon. Some examples: 1. We were a table of 4 and one extra friend joined us after lunch. She'd barely even sat down when the front of house hostess came flying over and interrupted our conversation to tell us that no more than 4 people were allowed at our table and we'd have to move.
