The White Ball Inn - Carta

Ordered a double American burger and straight away sent it back because both burgers were cremated.Waited 15 mins for a replacement meal.

good for a drink, went quite late after they stopped serving. but was practical to order on the app. was a nice evening sitting outside as he was saving in the interior.

Food was nice, everyone enjoyed there food desserts at a reasonable price just wished for a few extra chips on the meals would of been nice but other than that a tasty meal Ver carta

Service was amazing, staff friendly. Got to say the gent with tattoo on his neck was lovely always smiling and happy to help. Food was good too. Definitely going back again.

Chips were cold. Halloumi cheese burger arrived in a dry bun with a teaspoon of lettuce. The chili sauce had been forgotten. By the time the sauce was bought out my meal was almost finished..

Incredibly busy on a Weds teatime a good sign. This was a cheap but filling meal. Although they'd run out of gammon, so chose steak this was cooked really well. Service was prompt and very friendly. Only concern the few free tables were piled up with plates etc. and needed clearing but staff looked really busy. Ver carta

Ate here midweek meeting friends recently and whilst the pub has a great location by the river and is large enough to find a good table, the food was only average, especially the new dish of chicken in bbq sauce which was dry and tasteless. My friends' fish chips and the burger was ok though can't really grumble for the price.

Large came out cold (as usual) sent it back, hardly any better when it came back. Porridge was inedible. Sent it back for eggs Benedict which we asked to come out with the replacement breakfast. It didn’t. It arrived 10 mins after. Had to pay extra for it even though the whole experience was rubbish. The last time for us but I bet Witherspoon’s don’t care a toss.

Dreadful steak, ordered the gourmet sirloin medium rare and got what looked more like a flat frying steak medium to well done as it was so thin it would have been impossible to do any other way. The onion rings were forgotten and had to ask for them, ordered scampi as a extra and got what looked like fried cheese with a dip , the peppercorn sauce that came with the steak was bland as cardboard, truly dreadful as I said , I have a suspicion the steak was sent back by someone else and reheated for us, it was that bad. This Wetherspoons has always been poor for food but I thought It had been improving but this is right back to its worst Ver carta
