"Never been here before but the menu looked good. As soon as we entered, we were given a lovely warm greeting and shown to our table. The drinks order was taken straight away and the drinks arrived within a couple of minutes (as did all future drinks orders). We shared a couple of starters, both of which were delicious. A little disappointed to discover the pie had sold out but that's sometimes to be expected with home cooked dishes. The mains were tasty and filling and we could only manage one dessert between us. Overall, extremely impressed with the service quite rare to come across staff this friendly."
